BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 40% of leagues
ANALYSIS: In 2017, Michael A. Taylor posted an .806 OPS with 19 home runs and 17 stolen bases in just 432 plate appearances. The next season he stole 24 bases in even fewer PA, but his production otherwise cratered and he never really recovered, barely playing at the MLB level in his final two seasons with Washington.
Now with the Royals, he's come flying out of the gate in 2021. The 30-year-old owns a .391/.417/.696 line with a pair of homers, four runs, and six RBI in just six games. Just a hot streak perhaps, but his Statcast metrics look fantastic and he's striking out significantly less than usual. Without much threat to his playing time in Kansas City, Taylor has 20/20 potential.
