ANALYSIS: It took a bunch of injuries for Pittman to found a viable usage in Indy, but since Week 9 (included) he has been targeted a combined 18 times, and he's found his way into this offense for good. Or not. Because Pittman has been terrific since then, but for some reason, Philip Rivers doesn't want to look his way that much...
After logging 7 and 8 targets in back-to-back weeks, catching 4 and 7 passes for 56 and 101 yards respectively, Pittman was only targeted 3 times this past Sunday. He couldn't do a lot with that low volume of chances, but he still finished 3-for-3 with 66 receiving yards and a score on that small sample. Let's hope Rivers comes to his senses and uses Pittman more (as he already did in W9 and W10), as he clearly merits it.
Pittman has stringed two games of 15+ PPR points topping at 19.2 in W10. He's on a three-game streak of 9.5+ scores and has finished as a WR2 in the last two weeks. And the best could be yet to come.
The Colts face the 29th, 22nd, 19th, 22nd, and 16th-best defenses against fantasy wideouts ROS. That means Indy will be playing against bottom-half defenses from next weekend until the end of the fantasy playoffs. Whether Pittman sees a heavier target dose or not, the matchups alone make him a true WW-target for virtually every fantasy GM out there, let alone for those in deeper formats.
