BALLER MOVE: Start in All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR2
ANALYSIS: Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. is a strong WR2 option in fantasy leagues in Week 1 against the Houston Texans.
Houston has some good pieces in its secondary, but Pittman played well against the Texans in 2023, especially in their first meeting. In that game, Pittman finished with eight catches for 56 yards. He didn’t explode for huge numbers, but he made positive things happen.

Much of Pittman’s 2024 fantasy value will depend on how well quarterback Anthony Richardson plays. If he can refine his accuracy, then his arm strength should allow for some high-value deep targets for Pittman. But even if he struggles, Pittman’s high target share should still make him a reliable fantasy option, albeit one with a lower ceiling than managers would prefer.
If Pittman is your fantasy team’s No. 1 receiver, you might be in for a rocky season, but he’s a dependable fantasy WR2 in 2024.
