ANALYSIS: The rookie out of Notre Dame has been a victim of this underwhelming Raiders passing attack in his first pro campaign. After what appeared to be a breakout 5-catch, 75-yard performance in Week 6 hasn't topped 50 receiving yards in a game since.

Mayer had garnered four or more targets in three straight prior to earning just two looks in Las Vegas' embarrassing 3-0 loss to the Vikings in Week 14. If there's a silver lining for Mayer's fantasy managers, he does draw a positive matchup against the Chargers in Week 15. L.A. has allowed the NFL's sixth-most receiving yards to tight ends in 2023. While the rookie appears to have plenty of talent and a plus draw against the Bolts, Mayer should be considered nothing more than a fringe option in deeper, TE-Premium leagues.
