BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
ANALYSIS: San Diego Padres pitcher Michael King has been a very inconsistent fantasy option through the first couple of weeks of the season. He has thrown some gems in his first eight outings, like when he struck out 10 and allowed just one run across 7 2/3 innings against the Milwaukee Brewers on April 16. But, the right-hander has also struggled in some outings, giving up at least four earned runs in three of his last five starts.

Now, King will have a tough matchup in Week 7 against the Los Angeles Dodgers. This will be the third time the 28-year-old will face this explosive Dodgers offense this season and his second start against them in 2024. In his first appearance out of the bullpen in the South Korea series, the right-hander allowed three runs on four hits with three walks and five strikeouts across 3 1/3 innings pitched. Then, he started against them on April 12 and gave up seven runs (four earned runs) on six hits with two walks and four strikeouts in five innings.
King hasn't had much success against the Dodgers in 2024, so he's tough to trust in Week 7. However, he does have a high ceiling in any given outing, making him a potential start in 12-plus team leagues this week.
