BALLER MOVE: Add In 12+ Team Mixed Leagues, Must Own in AL-Only Leagues
ANALYSIS: At a very marginal 47% owned in Yahoo fantasy leagues, the casual fantasy baseball fan / player has missed out on some potentially valuable counting stats that the once must-own Indians outfielder has been providing of late. In the last 30 days, Michael Bourn (the above average speedster) has picked up his game just a tad slashing .282 BA, 2 HR, 7 RBI, 4 SB, 18 R. At that pace, he can be at least useful as a fifth outfielder, or rotational platoon play when you are needing a boost of runs and steals in your lineup. Just be a bit careful about catching this former Astros and Braves great on one of his patented torrid streaks, where he can rack up a dozen steals in a month's time span (even drunk and with his eyes closed); his last 7 days have been putrid (.206 BA, 4 R, 1 SB). Even at that, this would be the time to invest if you need a waiver wire rabbit with upside, so don't hesitate to at least bank on his guaranteed playing time (if healthy), and the proven track recored to steal a bundle of bags the rest of the way.
