ANALYSIS: For the majority of his career, Melky Cabrera has been an unexciting player for fantasy purposes. In fact, he's only ever posted consecutive above-average offensive seasons once, and that season ended with a PED suspension. The first two months of 2016 were more of the same, but Cabrera has been hitting rather well lately. Since May 31, he's put together an excellent .322/.346/.552 line with four homers and 28 R+RBI while hitting in the middle of the White Sox batting order. Cabrera doesn't run like he used to, but he remains a high-contact, high-average hitter in an era where those types are in relatively short supply.
