CALL-UP ETA: Today (7/27)
ANALYSIS: Today is finally the day that so many fantasy managers have been waiting for! Max Meyer was summoned from Triple-A Jacksonville on Friday and is set to make his fourth start of the 2024 season (but first MLB start in nearly three months) against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Max Meyer is back in Miami!
Meyer is a top 100 prospect who wields a very strong slider in conjunction with a 4-Seam and Changeup. He has done an effective job at throwing strikes in AAA and looks to build upon his early MLB success https://t.co/HhMGPfnVqT pic.twitter.com/m7Y4GnGd8b

The Marlins had said they had intended to limit his innings this season as he's coming off Tommy John surgery, but they also held him back this long because they wanted another year of team control on his contract.
Meyer's innings were capped around 3-4 in most of his Triple-A starts, but the latest word is that they won't have a hard cap on his innings. He will still likely be managed carefully, but he could easily offer some solid fantasy value if he's permitted to go 75-85 pitches per start.
Meyer is rostered in just 37% of Yahoo! leagues, but that number is on the rise and will surely keep growing if he pitches well today. He should really be rostered in all formats with how much potential he has, don't hesitate to add him in even the shallowest of leagues.
