BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Top-12
ANALYSIS: Matt Gay has provided fantasy managers with reliable, though perhaps not week-winning, production this season. Gay lands in the middle of the pack among NFL kickers with 19 field goals made in 2023 and has been perfect on all 28 of his extra-point attempts. The 29-year-old has missed four field goal tries, though all have been from long distance. Three of the whiffs were from 50+ yards away and the fourth was from 47 yards out.
In Week 13, the Indianapolis Colts take on the Tennessee Titans who have allowed a league-worst 28 field goals to their opponents this season. When the teams last met in Week 5, Gay was 3-for-3 on his field goals including a 28-yarder to put Indianapolis up seven with one minute left in the game.
The Colts can carry a drive but often come up short of the end zone and the loss of running back Jonathan Taylor (thumb) will further stunt the team's production. The Colts' hit-or-miss offense should be able to get Gay in a good spot to put points on the board making him a decent start on Sunday.
