The NASCAR Cup Series ran the Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday afternoon, with William Byron getting his third win of the young 2024 season while Hendrick Motorsports swept the top three.
When it came to Green Flag Speed, pole winner, Kyle Larson, was the fastest during the race, but he was unable to grab the track position he needed late to win the race. Chase Elliott and Bubba Wallace were the next behind Larson in Green Flag Speed. Race-winner, William Byron, ranked fifth-fastest in Green Flag Speed.
Of the top-five finishers, Ryan Blaney was the lowest-ranking in Green Flag Speed, as he was just ninth-fastest in that statistic but was able to rally for a fifth-place finish. All of the other top-five finishers on Sunday afternoon ranked inside the top five when it came to Green Flag Speed.
