BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 29% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Marlon Mack has played in one game this year and only had 34 yards on 10 carries. Despite this, the starting job in Indianapolis just seems to be sitting there waiting for him to come back. Jordan Wilkins has not impressed in his playing time, and the Colts seem set on using rookie Nyheim Hines simply as a pass-catching back.
A waiver claim for Mack is betting on the fact that he'll at least have the opportunity to break-out, not that he's going to break-out. The Colts are in the bottom-five in the NFL in total rushing yards, a bizarre group that includes Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay, Arizona, and Minnesota. Mack is more likely to drag the rushing game out of the gutter than any other back on the roster. The fact that he received ten rushes in just three quarters of game action indicates the team wants to give him a chance.
Mack is worth an add in 12+ team leagues, particularly for owners with a lack of quality running back depth.
