ANALYSIS: Much like Peterson, Semien has picked things up of late despite a lackluster overall season slash line. In his last seven games, Semien has hit at a .333 clip while knocking in six runs and adding in two homers. Semien is eligible at multiple positions, which gives him more value than most infielders you’ll probably find on the waiver wire at this point in the season. He’s usually hitting at the bottom of the lineup, so his counting stats won’t be terrific, but he’s definitely useful as a middle infield option or an injury fill-in.
