NCAA Tournament PrizePicks DFS Prop Picks for 3/17 - March Madness

Kofi Cockburn daily college fantasy basketball CFB DFS picks March Madness - rotoballer icon

Chris Wassel presents his NCAA Tournament PrizePicks DFS Prop Picks for Thursday, March 17th. Use his college basketball prop picks recommendations to win big.

Hello once again everyone! Welcome to March Madness on PrizePicks. Our friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of.

PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win. As for the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best, and easiest to win, NCAA Basketball DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks and college basketball go hand in hand here as there are a slew of options. From points to fantasy score to even blocks and steals, there is something for everyone to wager. If one thinks they have a scoop on players who get to the charity stripe, there is a Free Throws Made prop too. Just string all those players and pile up the cash!

Featured Promo: Our friends at PrizePicks are hooking you up. Get a 100% instant deposit match up to $100 using promo code BALLER with your first deposit, and also a free year of RotoBaller Premium access ($99 value)! Claim your 100% instant deposit match now, and use our prop picks to get off on a winning foot!

NCAA Tournament - PrizePicks DFS Prop Picks

Jalen Duren Over 12.5 Points. March Madness has a different feel to it this year. With some aspects of the pandemic easing, we can look forward. Okay, we can center on things better. In this case, Jalen Duren of Memphis is worth a look on Thursday against a Boise State team that is not nearly as athletic as they are prodding. Duren was one of the few players that showed up versus Houston (eight shot attempts, 14 points). It is simple. Get the center the ball and watch the shots fall. Duren can get players in foul trouble and quick. His rebound prop is set at 8.5. That is pretty juicy as well. Take the over on both.

Hunter Dickinson over 16.5 Points. The risk with playing the big man from Michigan here is does he get the playing time to get to the points? Foul trouble has been a bit of a concern. However, the matchup against six-seed Colorado State is an intriguing one. The Rams are an efficient but slow team. Dickinson is a little faster than he is given credit and keeps up with a more athletic and dynamic Michigan team. That can create easy looks and more baskets along with chances at the line. The boost via Prize Picks knocks this prop down three points. Take the over.

Corey Allen Over 14.5 Points. The risk on this one is great. No one ever quite knows what they will get out of the Georgia State guard. The Senior shoots just 37.2% on the season but some attribute that to a brutal early season streak where he could not buy a bucket. Georgia State will get the minutes and opportunities against Gonzaga. The Bulldogs will score plenty but the guard should have his chances. Also, he is attempting more shots (double digits in six of his last seven). Also, Allen had back to back 29-point efforts coming into the Madness. Take that over one more time! Allen's Fantasy Score is just 26.2 and could be another over that hits Thursday.

Kofi Cockburn Under 38.5 Fantasy Score. The toughest thing here is knowing that Cockburn has a huge advantage against Chattanooga but the Mocs play at a pace that ranks 302nd in the NCAA. If they can truly slow this game down just enough, that will limit Cockburn's ability to rack up a ton of points. They may try to collapse down low at times too. Cockburn is a 65% foul shooter but the year before was just 55%. That could make a difference with a fantasy score that is very close at 38.5. This one is so tough to call but Illinois guard play may decide this one more. Take the under.

Keegan Murray Over 43.5 Points. This is another hard one to gauge. However, Keegan Murray averages more than 23 points a game with double-digit rebound potential. Going against the Richmond Spiders arguably is helpful. Richmond is notorious for keeping games close. They could again here and sometimes Iowa's style of play helps that along too. However, Iowa can get hot and if the guards make a few shots early, this can set up Murray late. The prospective national player of the year can feast on defenses and even make a few three-point shots of his own. He attempts nearly five a game. Murray can block shots and even steal a ball now and then. He fills up too many categories. Take the over here.

Some others to eye up:

One of the more fun matchups on Thursday centers on Chet Holmgren from Gonzaga. Literally, the pivot can also shoot well from three-point range as well as the interior. The problem was the West Coast Conference tournament showed him a huge lesson. Shots clanged like they had not all year. Does he come out with a vengeance on Thursday? It is quite possible. Take a look at all of his props.

Finally, Adam Flagler of Baylor has a fantasy score of just 22.2 points and draws an easy matchup. He will get to atone for his nightmare of a game against Oklahoma in the Big-12 tournament where he went just 1-for 10 from the field. That is not going to happen again in Round 1. He will be plenty motivated. The over on points and fantasy score are something to eye up.
