ANALYSIS: Much like dril will never log off, I will never stop touting Padres outfielders as waiver wire additions. In previous weeks, we've looked at Hunter Renfroe and Franmil Reyes, and today it's Manuel Margot's turn in the spotlight. The 24-year-old is off to a solid start this season, hitting .288/.300/.475 with two home runs and a stolen base in his first 60 trips to the plate. After opening the year in the bottom half of the batting order, he has recently supplanted veteran Ian Kinsler in the leadoff spot.
Margot has speed (28 stolen bases in the last two seasons, though he's also been caught 17 times) and if he can continue to elevate the ball as he has in the first few weeks of the season, he could push his HR total in the high teens. Not bad for a guy who's free to add in over three-quarters of Yahoo leagues at the moment.
