Most of the action is early today as is the usual on Saturdays. We have nine afternoon games to indulge in between bouts of bowl games. The most wonderful time of the year, indeed! We start in Queens with Hofsta visiting St. John's. Virginia heads to Indiana to take on the Irish. We have Pitt and Syracuse from the Loud House.
Liberty heads to Tuscaloosa to take on the Tide. Creighton flies the coop for a date with Marquette. We have a rematch of the 1979 Championship game in East Lansing between Michigan State and Indiana State. The Hokies head to Wake. Wichita State finally gets a game at the Phog. We end this in Eugene with UCLA taking on Oregon.
In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/30/23, starting at noon Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards
Reece Beekman, Virginia ($8,400)
You know what that means? A high floor. I'm all for the high floor. When Beekman is scoring almost 13 points per game and racking up defensive stats (not to mention assists) at that rate, he's playable in any matchup. The Irish are nowhere near the team they were last year. Virginia is going to roll them and Beekman will be a big reason why.
A.J. Hoggard, Michigan State ($7,400)
Hoggard does a little bit of everything for the Spartans, but the recent uptick in assists (32 in the last five games compared to 5.1 on the season) is raising the floor. He has at least 26 DraftKings points in each of the last five games, scoring in double figures in every one of them. He won't need to play a huge role against Indiana State, but he might anyway.
Quadir Copeland, Syracuse ($6,200)
Copeland followed up on his huge game against the Ducks in Sioux Falls with another against Niagara. Pitt is a tougher opponent, but Copeland's contributions across all categories are resulting in great DFS scores. Copeland has 27 points, 12 rebounds, 13 assists, three steals, and a block in the last two games alone. It's not often you find this kind of production for the price.
Jayson Kent, Indiana State ($4,800)
This is more about the minutes than anything else. Kent is a versatile starter who can play anywhere from the two to the four for the Sycamores. Kent is a capable scorer, but his work on the boards and defense suggests some hidden value if the Sycamores leave him in even after this game gets out of hand. He's worth a dart at this price.
Also consider: Kevin McCullar Jr., Kansas ($9,900); Tyler Kolek, Marquette ($8,800); Mark Sears, Alabama ($7,900); Darlinstone Dubar, Hofstra ($7,200); Jackson Shelstad, Oregon ($6,900); Julian Larry, Indiana State ($6,500); Jaden Akins, Michigan State ($5,800); RJ Luis, St. John's ($5,100)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards
Joel Soriano, St. John's ($9,400)
This is a great matchup for Soriano, who has been rolling anyway. He hasn't been under 35 DraftKings points since the Holy Cross game more than a month ago. That's five consecutive double-doubles for Soriano and he is piling up the blocks too. There's nothing he can't do, which gives him a high ceiling.
Kwame Evans Jr., Oregon ($8,500)
Injuries opened up a spot for Evans to strut his stuff and he has responded with some big games. Over the last three games, Evans has 45 points, 24 rebounds, seven assists, 11 steals, and eight blocks. Those numbers are almost up there with Soriano! The sky seems to be the limit for Evans.
Efton Reid III, Wake Forest ($5,700)
Wake finally inserted Reid into the starting five and he responded with 14 points, eight rebounds, and five blocks. He should get another start against Virginia Tech. It's going to be a tougher game for Reid, but it won't take a ceiling game for him to hit value at this price.
Robbie Beran, Virginia Tech ($4,500)
A move to the bench seems to have helped the Northwestern transfer. Beran has 62.25 DraftKings points in 61 minutes since coming off the bench three games ago. This role suits him more than a starting role did and he has turned into a nice value play.
Also consider: Hunter Dickinson, Kansas ($9,500); Blake Hinson, Pittsburgh ($7,300); Maliq Brown, Syracuse ($6,400); Guillermo Diaz Graham, Pittsburgh ($5,800); David Joplin, Marquette ($5,500); Nick Pringle, Alabama ($4,900)
