Most of the college football action takes place in the afternoon and evening, so college basketball loaded up on the main slate today. We have a dozen games going on with no afternoon slate, then a late slate. We have quite a day of college goodness in front of us. We have some big games today. LSU heads to Austin to take on Texas. Georgia Tech heads up to Penn State. Kansas heads to Assembly Hall to take on the Hoosiers...and those are just the early games!
The afternoon starts in East Lansing with Baylor in town. The Irish are hosting the surging Hoyas. A&M makes the short trek to Houston to take on the Cougars. Clemson heads to Memphis to take on the Tigers in a quite intriguing game. Oklahoma State hosts UCLA. We get a little mid-major flavor with FAU heading up to take on St. Bonaventure. Purdue hosts Arizona in another monster game. DePaul hosts Northwestern in what would be the battle of Chicagoland if the Wildcats hadn't lost to Chicago State. We end this in Chapel Hill with Kentucky in town. How's that for a packed slate?

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards
Kevin McCullar Jr., Kansas ($9,500)
Hunter Dickinson was the prize of the transfer portal this year, but I can argue that McCullar has been every bit as important for the Jayhawks. Even though he only made four of his 15 shot attempts against Missouri, McCullar still put up 39.25 DraftKings points thanks to his great defense and rebounding. The only dud that McCullar has had was against Tennessee. Indiana is not Tennessee. We should see another strong game out of McCullar.
RJ Davis, North Carolina ($8,400)
Davis's streak of games with at least 27 points ended at three because the bum only had 26 against Connecticut. Joseph Forte was the last Carolina player to score 27 points in three straight games. For North Carolina to truly take the next step, they needed a guard to take the heat off of Armando Bacot. Davis has not only done that, but he has been the driving force of the offense. Davis has at least 33 DraftKings points in five straight games. The pace of this game shouldn't slow him down any.
Caleb Love, Arizona ($7,600)
Love has made the transition to the desert from Chapel Hill very easily. In fact, he has excelled in Tucson. Love has at least 22 DraftKings points in every game and at least 28 in each of the last six games. Arizona has played some tough teams in the early going, with Purdue being another one of them. Love has produced against all of them but Duke. He should against Purdue today as well.
Emanuel Sharp, Houston ($5,900)
Sharp is an instant injection of offense into a team that didn't really need it. Houston is an embarrassment of riches anyway, but Sharp has scored 58 points in just 94 minutes over the last four games. Sharp is also very active on the defensive end and a good rebounder. He does everything. The hot streak from the floor just boosts his value even more.
Also consider: Boo Buie, Northwestern ($8,800); RayJ Dennis, Baylor ($8,100); Joseph Girard III, Clemson ($7,300); L.J. Cryer, Houston ($7,000); Tyson Walker, Michigan State ($6,900); Kylan Boswell, Arizona ($6,200); Bryan Greenlee, Florida Atlantic ($5,300); Naithan George, Georgia Tech ($4,800)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards
Zach Edey, Purdue ($11,200)
The only thing that has been able to stop Edey in the early going is a blowout. That hasn't even stopped him every time. Edey only played 24 minutes against Iowa on Tuesday, but he still racked up 51.5 DraftKings points. That's his third 50-point outburst in the last six games. One of the other games was a blowout. Edey is a very efficient shooter and is one of the best in the college game at getting to the line. His floor is very high just on points alone. He has scored 80 points in the last three games, all against good competition (Alabama, Northwestern, and Iowa). He should still have a strong game against Arizona.
Dillon Mitchell, Texas ($7,900)
It was rumored around a month ago that Dylan Disu was seen running in practice and was close to a return. It has been crickets since. Texas doesn't really need to hurry Disu back with the way Mitchell has been playing. Mitchell is a constant double-double threat and has been excellent on both ends of the court for the Longhorns. Even if Disu were to make his return here, I doubt it would take a chunk out of Mitchell's production. It would be tougher on Kadin Shedrick. Mitchell has been too important lately.
Aaron Bradshaw, Kentucky ($6,600)
Bradshaw was the lone bright spot in Kentucky's inexplicable loss to Penn. The freshman put up 40.75 DraftKings points in his first full collegiate game. Carolina is going to be a tougher matchup for him, but it's not like Penn doesn't have size on the interior. Facing the veteran Armando Bacot makes another 40-burger unlikely, but Bradshaw has the talent to pull it off. That makes him an intriguing GPP play.
Ismael Massoud, Georgetown ($5,800)
The price on Massoud is finally starting to catch up to the production. His poor shooting day against Coppin State can be forgiven. What I'm more intrigued by is his involvement in the offense. It wasn't like that at Kansas State until tournament time last year. Massoud has produced across the board since his debut against Merrimack on November 29. He's one of the more reliable guys out there.
Also consider: PJ Hall, Clemson ($9,900); David Jones, Memphis ($8,600); Harrison Ingram, North Carolina ($8,000); Ian Schieffelin, Clemson ($7,000); Baye Ndongo, Georgia Tech ($6,800); Jamison Battle, Ohio State ($6,300); Da'Sean Nelson, DePaul ($5,900); Derek Fountain, LSU ($4,600)
