BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
OWNED IN: 53% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Since his encouraging performance as a rookie, Maikel Franco has largely been a disappointment. It was widely understood that 2018 represented something of a make-or-break season for him in Philadelphia. For most of the first half, Franco remained frustratingly inconsistent and prone to ugly at-bats. Something may have finally clicked for him, however. The 25-year-old has hit .308/.349/.615 with seven home runs in July and seems to have made a conscious effort to pull the ball less and use the whole field.
Franco's hot hitting has pulled his season line up to .270/.313/.486, which would represent his best showing since that 2015 rookie campaign. He also has a shot at setting new personal bests in homers and RBI. His ownership rate has crept above 50% in recent days, but you can (and should) still grab him in plenty of leagues.
