ANALYSIS: I guess we have to take advantage of the Oklahoma City Thunder still using every viable player while that lasts. You know the shutdowns are coming in Shai, Dort, Giddey, etc... way, so you gotta hit while the iron is hot.
Dort is playing 32 MPG in December (10 games) and he's actually topped or matched that figure in eight of the 10 matches. The shooting has been subpar at best with the guard hitting just 42-of-111 shots from the floor this month (ugly 37.8 FG%) but playing so many minutes is helping him fix those efficiency issues.
Also, Dort is kind of selective when it comes to his shoots of preference. He's attempting "only" 11 FGA per game and even though he misses those shots more often than not, he always finds a way to an open trey here and there.
Over the season, Dort is keeping up 40/31/75 shooting splits and scoring 1.7 3PM per game. He's one of just seven players shooting 32% or worse from three-point range and still hitting 1.7+ from distance.
Dort is averaging more than 25 FPPG this season and he has started each and every one of the 32 games he's played. He's one of three players averaging those many fantasy points per outing while putting up at least 12+ PPG, 4+ RPG, 4+ APG, 1+ SPG, and 1+ 3PM per game while rostered in fewer than 50% of ESPN leagues.
