BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Streaming option
ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Rams kicker Lucas Havrisik is trending up heading into Thursday's contest against the New Orleans Saints, making him a fantasy option in 12-team leagues for managers who are still streaming kickers.
Havrisik, who played in college at Arizona, spent the beginning of the season with the Cleveland Browns on the practice squad, but the Rams signed him in October after releasing Brett Maher. Since then, he's been a relatively solid kicker, making 14 of his 15 extra points and 12 of his 16 field goal attempts.
One important thing when it comes to kickers is volume. If a player isn't attempting field goals, that player can't score fantasy points from field goals. Volume hasn't been a problem lately for Havrisik, as he's attempted three field goals in each of the past three Rams games, plus has attempted at least two extra points in each game.
While fantasy managers might want him to be a little more accurate than his 75% mark on field goals this season, Havrisik's volume puts him firmly in the streaming tier this week. He benefits from the strong play of the Rams offense and while the Saints defense has been fairly good this year, I expect the Rams to at least get the ball in position for Havrisik to attempt kicks.
