BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team PPR Leagues
OWNED IN: 2% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: Jeremy Kerley is operating as the Jets #3 receiver, the slot man, as Quincy Enunwa still has two games left on his suspension. Kerley saw four targets in the game against the Patriots, reeling in three of them for receptions for 27 yards and a touchdown. In Week 8 against the Raiders he caught four balls for 63 yards. Do note that those Week 8 numbers were with Geno Smith in for most of the game, and while I will say he performed admirably all things considered, he is still a subpar quarterback.
The Jets will get to tee off against the Jaguars defense in Week 9, and it looks as though Ryan Fitzpatrick is going to be back under center. This will be the best matchup for Kerley to have a good game, as the Jaguars do not have a stellar secondary by any means. If you’re in a PPR league and need to grab a wide receiver in this upcoming week where six teams are on bye, you could do a lot worse than Kerley. Kerley does have a decent chance at cracking that 10 point mark for you, whether it is through a touchdown or just having enough volume come his way. His stock goes up if Nick Mangold cannot go, as the running game will suffer with his absence. Keep eyes on it all, but he is a good deep PPR league option.
