ANALYSIS: While it is true that Logan Thomas was forced out of a few games earlier this season, the truth is that having him featuring in seven already is quite encouraging considering his past and how filled of injuries it's been. Logan Thomas is perhaps not his old self anymore, but in a fantasy world in which options at the TE position are slim at best, he still carries a bunch of upside.
Thomas has played at least 62% of all Commanders' offensive snaps every single game topping at 74% in Week 4. He's seen at least three targets in all games he's appeared in this season with a season-high of six targets coming in Week 1, 4 and finally Week 11 last Sunday at Houston.
Logan Thomas has only scored one touchdown this season but he's still had four TE2-level outings with two into the TE1 realm, including his last one. This past weekend he put up a 5-of-6, 65-yard receiving outcome for 11.5 PPR points good for a top-10 score among players at the position. He had back-to-back top-18 performances to start the season in his prior-best span of games this year.
Thomas is definitely not a weekly TE1 (at the end of the day Washington doesn't even have a proper quarterback these days...) but you can at least give him a shot as a boom/bust type of player with a ceiling around 15 PPR if he finds paydirt but a near-zero floor if he does not and he doesn't see more than three targets.
