Lil'Jordan Humphrey is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for wide receivers. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 14 of the 2021 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: After appearing in the first two weeks of the season, Lil'Jordan Humphrey stayed out until a brief 13-span appearance in Week 7, and he then proceeded to remain out for three more weeks after re-appearing in time for Week 11's game at Philadelphia. The past three weeks have seen a much better Humphrey than the one we saw in the first half of the season, and although his upside isn't huge, he can still help a fantasy GM or two ROS if you happen to play in one deep-as-hell fantasy league.

Humphrey went on to score a season-high 12.9 PPR points against Dallas last TNF. All he needed was two targets to catch both of those looks, racking up 49 yards, and score a touchdown. That's what we call efficiency around these places. That's also what can be called a fluky outing not going to repeat itself often. The thing with Humphrey, though, is that he already had a similar game back in W11 when he got exactly one reception on one target for just 4 yards... and another touchdown.

The Saints are playing with either 1) a running back masquerading as a quarterback or 2) a quarterback that knows he's not an NFL-level quarterback. That's no bueno and doesn't help Humphrey upside, and on top of that, he's playing fewer than 50% of the offensive snaps. The Saints receiving corps are so banged-up, though, that it's slim pickings these days, and someone a la Humphrey/Deonte Harris is going to have ample chances on volume and/or spot-plays helping their TD opportunities. High-risk high-reward WW target with an absolute boom/bust outlook, but if you're hurting for receivers and have room in the lineup to roster/start a what-if player, Humphreys isn't the craziest option out there.
