BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 29% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: Leonard Hankerson was ruled out of Week 7’s game against the Titans with a hamstring injury. The injury, combined with his past two games being poor (one of which he also exited early thanks to an injury) have meant that his availability has climbed back up to almost being out there in 75% of all leagues. While Hankerson has had some struggles with dropping the ball, he has still shown that he has the talent to put together some great games.
The worry here is that Roddy White has come back into the fold a bit thanks to Hankerson’s absence, and Nick Williams has also shown that he is capable of stepping into Hankerson’s role should he falter or not meet the coaches’ expectations. The hope is that Hankerson can go in Week 8, as the Falcons will get to take their shot at home against a Tampa Bay defense that seems to give away points like candy on Halloween night. Week 9 also brings a plus matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Week 10 is the Falcons’ bye, but the idea is that by then Hankerson has had two good games against two subpar defenses, and you’ll be able to assess how much he means to you and if you can hold him through the bye.
