Quarterbacks - Late Slate Week 15 DFS Picks
Top Play: Josh Allen- BUF vs. DET (DK: $8.5K / FD: $9.5K)
Sitting with the highest salary, it is hard not to put Josh Allen in your lineup. Last weekend, Allen scored six touchdowns (three passing, three rushing) and tallied over 400 total yards.
what a day for Josh Allen pic.twitter.com/gzO9MzvyoZ
— NFL (@NFL) December 9, 2024
Over his past four games, he has averaged an incredible 34.7 PPR points per game. This weekend, he faces a tough Detroit Lions defense that has allowed the sixth-fewest PPR points to opposing QBs.
However, given the high 54-point spread, Allen could find himself in another high-scoring affair, which would put him in a great position to finish at the top of the slate once again.
Contrarian Play: Bo Nix- IND vs. DEN (DK: $6.3K / FD: $7.6K)
After starting a bit slow, the rookie has found his footing and has been producing at a solid QB1 value. Over his past six games, Nix has averaged 24.4 PPR points per game while tallying 266.0 yards per game and holding a 12:3 TD:INT ratio.
This weekend, he faces a weak Indianapolis Colts defense that has allowed the 11th-most PPR points to opposing QBs this season.
Running Backs - Late Slate Week 15 DFS Picks
Top Play: Saquon Barkley- PIT vs. PHI (DK: $8.6K / FD: $9.3K)
Last weekend, Saquon Barkley set a new single-season franchise record in rushing yards as he tallied 124 yards against the Carolina Panthers. Over the past four weeks, Barkley has averaged an incredible 158.0 rushing yards per game while seeing 3.0 targets per game.
Even though he has a difficult matchup on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who allowed the 11th-fewest PPR points to opposing RBs, it is hard to fade a top MVP candidate.
Top Play: Jahmyr Gibbs - BUF vs. DET (DK: $7.5K / FD: $8K)
My other top running back is Jahmyr Gibbs. Even though Gibbs is currently in a 50/50 split with David Montgomery, he has still produced elite RB1 production all season and should be in store for a nice showing on Sunday, facing a Buffalo Bills defense that has allowed the third-most PPR points to opposing RBs.

Over the past four weeks, Gibbs has seen 14.0 attempts and 3.5 targets per contest while averaging 98.0 total yards per game. In this span, Gibbs has found the end zone three times.
Contrarian Play: Rhamondre Stevenson - NE vs. ARI (DK: $5.9K / FD: $6.6K)
Coming out of his bye week, Rhamondre Stevenson has a great matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, who just allowed 134 rushing yards to Zach Charbonnet.
Over his past four games, Stevenson has tallied at least 70+ rushing yards in three and seen at least three targets in two.
Since Week 8, Stevenson scored double-digit PPR points in four of the six games and even surpassed 20.0+ PPR points in two of them.
Facing one of the worst rushing defenses in football, Stevenson should be in a prime position to enjoy another strong showing and could be in a great spot to finish near the top of his position on this slate.

Wide Receivers - Late Slate Week 15 DFS Picks
Top Play: Amon-Ra St. Brown - BUF vs. DET (DK: $7.6K / FD: $8.5K)
Amon-Ra St. Brown has had two quiet showings over the past two weeks but should be primed for a bounce-back on Sunday, facing the Buffalo Bills.
Over his past two games, St. Brown has caught just five passes in each game and averaged just 58.0 yards per contest. However, before this stretch, St. Brown averaged 21.9 PPR points per game during Weeks 9 through 12 and found the end zone four times during this span.
In a potentially high-scoring affair, St. Brown should be heavily involved and be primed for a nice rebound showing.
Top Play: Courtland Sutton - IND vs. DEN (DK: $6.6K / FD: $7.2K)
My other top option is Courtland Sutton, who has consistently performed as a high-end WR1 over the past month.
During his past six contests, Sutton has averaged a stellar 20.4 PPR points per game and seen an eye-catching 9.5 targets per game.
Courtland Sutton just threw a touchdown to Bo Nix on 4th down. This was an impressive throw by Sutton with pressure in his face and an even more impressive catch by Nix.

— Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate) November 3, 2024
Operating as Bo Nix’s clear No. 1 target, Sutton should be in a great position to continue his WR1 pace, facing a Colts defense that has allowed the 16th-most PPR points to opposing wideouts.
Contrarian Play: Jameson Williams- BUF vs. DET (DK: $5.6K / FD: $6.4K)
After struggling to see a consistent target share early in the season, Jameson Williams emerged as a consistent option in the Detroit offense. Since Week 10, Williams has averaged 6.6 targets and 69.8 yards per game. Williams saw just 5.0 targets and 60.2 yards per game during his first six games.
Even though he is facing a relatively tough Buffalo secondary that has allowed the 13th-fewest PPR points to opposing wideouts, given the hefty 54-point spread, Williams could be in store for a big game, especially if Detroit relies on its passing attack.
On a small slate like this, I would rather target players in a potentially high-scoring affair to save salary, and Williams fits that bill.
Contrarian: Amari Cooper- BUF vs. DET (DK: $5.3K / FD: $5.9K)
Another player with a lower salary who fits that criteria is Amari Cooper.
Amari Cooper has not found his footing in Buffalo but is coming off his best outing of the season. Last weekend, in their loss to the Los Angeles Rams, Cooper saw a season-high 14 targets but only brought in six of them for 95 yards.
While he carries some inherent risk given his unstable performance, with the potential for a high-scoring affair against the Lions, Cooper should be more likely to boom than bust, given the high projected point total.
Tight Ends - Late Slate Week 15 DFS Picks
Top Play: Trey McBride- NE vs. ARI (DK: $6K / FD: $7.5K)
The clear top option at the position on this week’s slate is Trey McBride. McBride has seen at least 12.0 targets per game in each of the past three weeks. During this span, McBride has averaged 20.3 PPR points per game.
Despite facing a New England defense that has defended opposing TEs quite well, McBride remains the bona fide No. 1 play this weekend.
Contrarian Play: Pat Freiermuth- PIT vs. PHI (DK: $3.9K / FD: $5.3K)
With George Pickens (hamstring) not expected to play, Pat Freiermuth should be in a good position to see an uptick in targets. Last weekend, with Pickens sidelined, the tight end tallied 48 yards and a score on three receptions.
TOUCHDOWN PAT FREIERMUTH!! HES BEEN BALLING IN THE STEEL CITY
— LandonTengwall (@landon_tengwall) December 8, 2024
Over the past five weeks, Freiermuth has scored at least double-digit PPR points in three of them. Despite facing a tough Philadelphia defense, Freiermuth should see enough volume to provide enough value at his current price.
Defense/Special Teams - Late Slate Week 15 DFS Picks
Top Play: Denver Broncos - IND vs. DEN (DK: $3.2K / FD: $4.8K)
Even though Anthony Richardson has begun to turn the corner, the Broncos should be considered a great option on this slate. Richardson threw two interceptions in his most recent game and tallied only 109 yards through the air.
Over these past two games, the Broncos have tallied eight sacks with four interceptions.
Contrarian Play: Tampa Bay Buccaneers - TB vs. LAC (DK: $2.6K / FD: $3.8K)
My budget option for this position is the Tampa Bay unit facing the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Chargers have not eclipsed 20 points in each of their previous two games, and the Buccaneers are coming off a solid showing last Sunday when they forced three turnovers and two sacks against the Las Vegas Raiders.
