BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 43% of Yahoo! Leagues
ANALYSIS: The season ending injury to Dalvin Cook opened up a role in the backfield in Minnesota for one of Jerick McKinnon or Latavius Murray to step into. McKinnon came out of the gate strong but Murray has looked more the part in the last few games, boosting his value going forward.
Murray is not an asset in the passing game, as McKinnon still serves that role for the Vikings. However, Murray was able to put up 68 yards on 17 carries and a touchdown last week. Nothing too impressive, but still worth an add in 12 team leagues or deeper. McKinnon will still take some carries away from Murray, but the four year veteran has earned enough of a role in the offense that he should post solid, if unspectacular, fantasy stats for the rest of the season.
Against the Rams next week, Murray is worth a look in the flex in deeper, non-PPR formats.
