Wide receivers are flying off the board early in 2024 fantasy football drafts. According to FFPC ADP, eight of the first 12 picks are wide receivers. If you want a top pass-catcher on your roster, you’re going to have to pay up.
Some of the unquestioned elite options available at the position are CeeDee Lamb, Tyreek Hill, and Ja’Marr Chase. Each is their team’s unquestioned WR1 and is capable of single-handedly winning your weekly matchup.
All three are elite options for your fantasy football team. Let’s take a few minutes and do a quick breakdown of each player.

CeeDee Lamb Fantasy Football Outlook
Lamb is coming off an all-world season. He put up a 135-1,749-12 final stat line and finished as the overall WR1 as well as the WR1 in fantasy points per game (PPG).

He was a massive advantage for managers and took his game to a new level. With Dallas doing little to address its running game, it looks like it will continue to run its offense through Lamb and quarterback Dak Prescott. This means we should be in store for another massive season from Lamb.
There is some concern the fifth-year receiver will hold out into training camp as he angles for a new contract. We shouldn’t worry too much about this issue as Lamb has clearly proved his worth and an extension is certainly coming down the pipeline. Gamers can safely draft him as their WR1, and he’s in the conversation for the first player taken off draft boards.
Tyreek Hill Fantasy Football Outlook
Hill was operating on a different level last year. His advanced metrics were completely off the charts. Per Fantasy Points Data Suite, Hill ranked first in yards per route run (YPRR) with an incredible mark of 4.05. Also checking in with a targets per route run (TPRR) of .38, Hill remains one of the game's top target hogs.

Entering his age-30 season, Hill is still playing at the top of his game. He has previously stated that he wants to be the league's first 2,000-yard receiver, and he very well may have gotten there before his ankle injury last year. Hill is set to make another run at the 2K mark this season. He's a very real threat to dethrone Lamb as the overall WR1 and should be among the first players taken in fantasy drafts regardless of format.
Ja'Marr Chase Fantasy Football Outlook
Chase is clearly behind both Lamb and Hill as he’s yet to have a monster statistical season. However, that doesn’t mean he's incapable of it. He’s got an overall WR5 finish as a rookie to his name and remains an uber-talented player. It’s just a matter of time until the stars align.

The last two seasons haven't been Chase’s best performances as he's finished 11th in PPR PPG in 2022 and 2023. Starting quarterback Joe Burrow returns this year, and this duo will be looking to pick up right where they left off.

If you miss out on Lamb and Hill, Chase is a nice fallback option. He always has a path to finishing as the overall WR1.
