BALLER MOVE: Start
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3/FLEX
ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey (hip) is a somewhat tough player to evaluate every week. He's fantastic in many advanced metrics and is an all-around great receiver, but he's held back by the Chargers' lack of passing volume. It's hard to find consistent fantasy success when your quarterback rarely throws for over 200 yards in a game.

The Chargers take on the Arizona Cardinals next. McConkey can always frustrating game if the opposing team can't do much on offense. Los Angeles prefers to run the ball heavily and let the defense finish the job. They have the fourth-lowest passing yards per game and seventh-lowest points per game in the NFL this year.
Ladd McConkey had a new season-high in targets (8) and air yards (97) in Week 6.

There's always the possibility that his role grows in the offense. He would need to dominate target share even further, but that's possible. If the Cardinals can't muster much offense, his upside will be capped, but he's talented enough already that he can still earn meaningful targets.
It's worth monitoring his injury, as he was limited in practice on Friday with a hip issue. He's expected to play, though. If he does, he's a solid WR3/FLEX option with an upside for more if he starts earning more targets.
