BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team PPR Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3/FLEX
ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey (hip) may not play in Week 8. He missed practice on Thursday. But if he does, he's a low-end WR3 option in PPR leagues. He's a great player, but he has Greg Roman as his offensive coordinator.

For fantasy managers who own Chargers players that aren't running backs, Roman may as well be a mythical monster sent from another planet to demolish your chances at high-scoring games. He stubbornly insists on pounding the rock while letting McConkey and his (ELITE) quarterback, Justin Herbert, waste their talents.
Herbert could be the biggest feature man of the offense instead of RB J.K. Dobbins. But Roman doesn't care. He'll run his bad offense even if it gets him fired.
Justin Herbert gets way too much hate for how elite he truly is. Imagine calling all of this overrated. 😂 pic.twitter.com/xA3Y7s75nB

As long as Roman is there, expect the rookie pass-catcher to be continually held back production-wise. He's an alright start as as WR3/FLEX in PPR simply due to his target share -- he's the clear WR1 on the offense right now. The problem is that doesn't mean a lot when your QB has a miniscule chance of eclipsing 250 passing yards, even in losses.
The New Orleans Saints, who LA faces in Week 8, also has a horrific run defense, so expect their OC to ride Dobbins (and possibly Kimani Vidal) to a victory.
