BALLER MOVE: Sit in Standard 10-12 Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4
ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey has shown promise through his first two games, but has racked up only 65 yards on seven receptions, though he had a touchdown. This week the Chargers face the elite Steelers defense. This may be the worst game script of McConkey's season.
The Steelers are a run-first, grind the clock down, smash mouth, ground and pound, smash the rock... you get it, type of offense. So are the Chargers. Both teams will be vying to lead in ball control, and to make matters worse, the Steelers have an excellent pass defense.

The Chargers are a team with an injured QB in Justin Herbert (dealing with ankle and likely remnants of foot ailments) who want to run the ball going against a team with an elite pass defense that locks down receivers and has an offensive coordinator that hates the concept of the forward pass.
Herbert hasn't even thrown for over 200 yards in a game yet, so there's not much silver lining. The Steelers vs Chargers matchup is shaping up to be a reenactment of a pre-World War II sporting event more than it is a modern football game.
That could be entertaining to some, but a 0-5 point fantasy week from McConkey wouldn't be. Leave him on the bench this week.
UPDATE: Chargers QB Justin Herbert is now listed as questionable with a high-ankle sprain.
