BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 29% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Judging by his ownership rate, fantasy owners have been reluctant to embrace Kyle Gibson as a viable option. We're now nearly at the halfway point of the season, though, and Gibson's results continue to impress. Leaving aside his meager two victories, the 30-year-old has been a significant asset thanks to quality ratios (3.25 ERA, 1.21 WHIP) and fanning nearly a batter per inning. He's logged a quality start in eight of his last 11 outings and has just one victory to show for it.
Including his final eight starts of 2017, Gibson is 8-5 with a 3.13 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and 132 strikeouts in his last 138 innings. He's earned a roster spot in most formats at this point.
