Kyle Anderson (PF, MIN) - Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 15

ANALYSIS: The last time I checked (Sunday morning), Rudy Gobert was labeled a "game-time decision" in the Wolves' injury report while teammate Karl-Anthony Towns is still expected out until the end of next month, if not more. In other words: Kyle Anderson SZN keeps going.

Anderson has started on the Wolves' wing for more than a month now and has 19 individual starts going all the way back to December 7. If you go a couple of weeks further back in time, it's been 20 starts in 21 games for Anderson starting to count from November 30.

Slo-Mo has stepped up his game of late, too, as he's put up two double-double outings in the last week of play... and even one triple-double! You read that right, folks. Trip-dub Slo-Mo is a thing this season and for the first time since he first did it in 2019, nearly four exact years to the day. He did it against the Jazz on January 16 (my sister's birthday), and on January 4, 2019, when he logged a 13-11-10-1-1 packed line in 35 minutes of playing time. Sheesh.

That's cool and all, and it's far from a fluke. Barring a zero-point outing in his most recent game on Saturday (he still finished with a 0-7-2-1-3 packed line once more), Anderson has averaged a ridiculous 10-6-5-2-1 line this month. I only rounded up the averages to the nearest integer in the steals cat (1.7 SPG).

Nobody in the NBA is doing that over the full season. Just five men are stealing a rock and swatting a shot every game this season through Saturday. Anderson has been doing it for a month at a ridiculous pace.

In January alone, only four players are putting up averages of 1.3+ BPG and 1.3+ SPG on 30+ MPG: Anderson, Bam Adebayo, Scottie Barnes, and Alperen Sengun.
