BALLER MOVE Add in Deeper Leagues
ANALYSIS: Kole Calhoun is in a CF platoon with Collin Cowgill; that’s the bad news. The good news is that Calhoun does play against most right handed starters so he’s starting around 3/4 of the time and often enters games in the late innings if he doesn’t start. After missing more than a month with a sprained right ankle, he was activated a little more than a month ago. In the past 30 days, he has hit .312 with 16 R, 3 HR, 8 RBI, and is in the best run scoring position in the majors batting in front of Mike Trout and Albert Pujols. As Calhoun has not stolen a base since the return and has decent SB potential, it might indicate he has been less than 100%. During the second half of the season, Calhoun should generate nice stats across the board, but should be a great source of runs and AVG. He can be considered a potential 4th or 5th outfielder in any format.
