BALLER MOVE: Add in 12-Team Leagues or Deeper
Owned in 29% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: If you read my Week 2 Risers and Fallers article last week, you knew that I was not very high on Robert Griffin III. Little did I know that he was going to dislocate his ankle, paving the way for Kirk Cousins to head up the Washington offense for the foreseeable future. Cousins played well on Sunday after replacing RG3, throwing for 250 yards and two touchdowns in a route of the Jaguars. He now finds his way to our waiver wire sleepers list as we look towards Week 3 of the fantasy football season and beyond.
There is a lot of speculation that Cousins is a much better fit for new head coach Jay Gruden's offense than RG3 is, and Cousins will get a chance to prove it over the coming weeks. With weapons like Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson, plus a quality running attack of Alfred Morris and Roy Helu (when healthy) at his disposal, Cousins should be able to find success. He should certainly be added off the waiver wire in leagues deeper than 10 teams, at the very least as a high-upside bench stash, and he may even prove to be a quality starting QB for your fantasy teams in future weeks.
