BALLER MOVE: Start
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3/FLEX
ANALYSIS: The addition of former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper isn't great for the fantasy value of Buffalo Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir... or is it? It will really depend on how the targets are divided up in the new offense. It seems like running back James Cook will get a few, while Cooper and Shakir will be the main priorities.

It's not all doom and gloom. This trade may not affect the third-year-pro's fantasy value much. If anything it will boost the value of the passing offense. Obviously, quarterback Josh Allen will be the biggest beneficiary, but Shakir has only been getting three to six targets per game, and he should be able to work in the slot more.
The now former Cleveland Brown will probably work outside as the X receiver because that's what he's gone for a while now, and defenses will have a tough time adjusting. We should see a higher passing volume from Allen. Shakir has separated himself from the other receivers in the room pre-Cooper trade.
Shakir remains firmly in the low-end WR3 spectrum and should be started as such, though fantasy managers will need to pay attention to how the targets are divvied up to adjust in the future.
