BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 18% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Kevin Kiermaier is known primarily for two things: His excellent defensive work in center field, and his inability to remain healthy. Neither endears him to fantasy owners, whom he's teased over the years with flashes of the ability to provide both pop and speed.
So far this season, he's managed to avoid injury, and the results justify a much higher rate of ownership than his present mark. Kiermaier has seven home runs and 10 stolen bases in 58 games, to go along with solid run production. He won't hit for average (currently sitting at .249, and .254 for his career) but the 29-year-old is filling the box score nicely otherwise.
Some sort of future physical ailment is probably inevitable, given his track record. Still, for as long as he's on the field, he's worth owning in many formats.
