BALLER MOVE: Add in AL-Only Leagues / Deeper Leagues
ANALYSIS: Despite seeing regular time in the lineup for the cellar dwelling Rays, Kevin Kiermaier is flying a bit under the radar while hammering his way through the last month, and is the most recent addition to our sleepers list. The rookie slugger has stepped up in a big way while injuries have plagued the Tampa Bay outfield, posting an impressive .303/.347/.578 slash line with 6 homers, 11 RBI and 12 runs scored across 119 plate appearances since May 31. Drafted in the 31st round of the 2010 amateur draft, Kiermaier, according to MLB.com, worked his way into a spot among the organization’s 10 best prospects heading into the 2014 campaign. Only owned in five percent of Yahoo! leagues at the time of this writing, the time to make a move is now for those in search of potential across-the-board production in AL-Only and deeper mixed formats.
