ANALYSIS: Kenyan Drake already had a moment to flash his talents back in Week 6 when J.K. Dobbins could only play 16 snaps... and he surely delivered the goodies racking up 19.7 PPR points to the tune of a season-high 119 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown.
This past TNF saw Gus Edwards go down injured once more after having missed the past nine (if not more) years of NFL football precisely because of his shaky health. Of course, to make things look super cringe, Edwards also appeared in the same ominous number of snaps that Dobbins did: 16.
Drake took the heaviest load making up for Edwards last Thursday appearing in 44 snaps and, once more, he excelled at leading the Ravens backfield having another RB1-level outing: 16.7 PPR points with 62 yards on seven carries and a perfect 4-for-4 (for only five yards, though) pass-catching night in which Drake hauled in his first receiving touchdown of the year.
According to coach Harbaugh the injury sustained by Edwards "doesn't seem too bad" but he could miss at least one game with the chance of staying out entirely if only for precautionary measures ahead of Baltimore's bye in Week 10.
Drake is a must-add in all leagues if only for a week and a good asset to have rostered in 12+ teams with Dobbins out for long and Edwards's injury woes still very present.
