Keelan Cole (WR, JAX) - Week 11 Waiver Wire Pickups

ANALYSIS: Slowly but surely, Keelan Cole has kept eating from DJ Chark Jr.'s production and he is only 3.4 PPR points away from catching the later in the total points leaderboard through Week 10. The truth is, though, that Cole has played one more game. But even with that, Cole is averaging 11.9 PPG to Chark's 13.8 and they are the WR2 and WR1 of the Jaguars these days.

Although Cole's usage was putrid during the last two games played Jacksonville (four targets combined) he saw 7 passes this past Sunday and had already been targeted a season-high 9 times in Week 6.

Cole is a very reliable pass-catcher, but the Jags weren't just using him or looking his way enough. Cole started the year scoring 15.7 and 17.8 PPR points (helped by a TD in each of those games), then dropped to 8+ PPR in the next two games, but have 10+ PPR points in three of the last five (in all of those he was targeted 6+ times), reaching 20+ fantasy points twice.

While Cole isn't a catch-rate supernova (34-of-48 for a 70% rate), he makes the most of his opportunities. He's averaging 11.7 yards per reception and has scored 4 TDs already. Only 21 WRs, including Cole, are posting those numbers through W10 pending MNF, and he's putting up those marks on just 48 targets (the sixth-fewest among the players in that group).

Jacksonville has already gotten rid of its bye week and faces four opponents ranked 23rd or worse at preventing fantasy points from WRs next, including the third and second-worst in the league. If new starting QB Jake Luton keeps looking his way, Cole is a must-have in deeper formats (weekly FLEX) entering a sweet stretch of matchups.
