BALLER MOVE: Start in 12-team Leagues or Deeper
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB2/FLEX
ANALYSIS: Kareem Hunt went from being unemployed to the starting tailback on the undefeated Super Bowl Champs in a heartbeat. Hunt was signed shortly after the Chiefs found out they would be without Isiah Pacheco for at least a month or more, and he was quickly moved into the rotation in the backfield.
Hunt carried 14 times for 69 yards against the Chargers in Week 4 and then 27 times for 102 yards and a touchdown against the Saints in Week 5.

The Chiefs are coming off their bye week and facing the San Francisco 49ers this week in a rematch of last year's Super Bowl. While the Niners have a respectable run defense, Hunt should still be in play this week as he's locked in as the top back in this backfield and is still likely the goal-line back despite the potential return of Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
The Chiefs have one of the best run-blocking units in the NFL, so don't expect them to abandon the run just because they are facing a good defense. The run game is a huge part of Andy Reid's offense, and we should anticipate Hunt continuing to dominate the touches for at least another week or two until Pacheco is able to return.
Hunt should be started in most formats. He's in a substantial role on an elite offense, which is something that most other running backs in the league don't have working for them.
