The NASCAR Cup Series ran the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway on Sunday evening after a rain delay, with Kyle Larson grabbing the victory over Chris Buescher in the closest finish in NASCAR history.
When it came to Green Flag Speed, Denny Hamlin ranked the fastest in the event and was the only driver to have an average speed over 171 mph. Race-winner, Kyle Larson, was second-fastest followed by Chris Buescher, who ended up finishing second. Hamlin wound up fifth after losing the lead on the final restart.
Of the top-five finishers, Chase Elliott was once again the lowest-ranking in Green Flag Speed. He was ninth-fastest in that statistic but ended up finishing third when the checkered flag flew. It's worth noting that Austin Cindric is shown as eighth-fastest in Green Flag Speed but he wrecked out of the race, so that is misleading.
