BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 24% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: With Breshad Perriman out indefinitely with his PCL injury requiring more rehabilitation and Steve Smith Sr. dealing with his rib injury, Aiken caught four balls on nine targets for 78 yards in Week 5. Aiken is not an elite talent out there, but he's talented enough to convert additional targets into production that you're going to want to take advantage of. Opportunity is still a sizeable part of the equation for fantasy production. It's unfortunate that he couldn't connect on more of the targets, but now with Justin Forsett not 100% either, Aiken can be a solid fill in option for owners who need wide receiver help.
The Ravens should get Steve Smith back in playing shape shortly, potentially even this next week, but he won’t be 100% and Aiken will still get starts as the #2 receiver because Perriman is a long way away from playing. The Ravens will face the 49ers, Cardinals, and Chargers in the next three weeks before their bye week. The 49ers are exploitable in their secondary, the Cardinals will probably score a lot and force the Ravens into throwing the ball, and the Chargers can also put points on the board. While Aiken isn’t the sexiest name on the waiver wire, and he does have the potential to put up a bagel (as evidenced by the Ravens’ first and third games), but wide receivers don’t grow on trees (or do they?) and those of you in deeper leagues should definitely roster Aiken with how beat up Baltimore is right now.
