Kadarius Toney (WR, NYG) - Fantasy Football Week 6 Waiver Wire Pickups

ANALYSIS: Call me crazy, but I truly was this close to label Toney a lost cause and a bust after getting drafted 20th overall by the New York Giants... and putting up two back-to-back duds of 1.8 and 3.6 PPR points in his first couple of games as a pro (yes, he didn't play in Week 2 at all). Thank god, injuries, a bump up in opportunities, and some reasonable skills on par with his draft stock popped on Toney's way and he grabbed all of it while never looking back.

Toney has now two games of 13.9+ PPR points in the past two weeks after logging a 9-6-78 receiving line in Week 4 and then doubling down on that outing with a ridiculous 13-10-189 performance this past Sunday. All Toney is missing is scoring a touchdown, but time will undoubtedly come if he can keep up such levels of production. Toney has played at least 54% of the team's snaps in the last three games topping at an 80% snap share in Week 4.

While it is true that the Giants will eventually get some bodies back to deploy at the wide receiver positions, it's also true that they'd be a little silly to straight drop Toney from the starting corps. Sure, he's not crossing the goal line in possession of the rock, but he can't be racking up more yards on a game-by-game basis this past couple of weeks nor catching many more passes. Took us a few weeks to get here, but Toney is finally a must-add player in virtually every league with a starting fantasy position as WR3/FLEX locked.
