BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 6% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ailing at wide receiver, Justin Watson stepped up in Week 16 and saw a career-high 10 targets. He caught five passes for 43 yards and a touchdown in the game. He now has two touchdowns in his past three games.
Mike Evans (hamstring) is out for the season and Chris Godwin (hamstring) is questionable for Week 17 after sitting out this past week. Breshad Perriman has excelled the past two weeks while moving up the depth chart. He's had over 100 receiving yards in two straight games and led the team with 12 targets in Week 16. He's the more valuable receiver to own at this point, but Watson is very much worthy of a look as well.
Add Watson in leagues of 12 teams or deeper. If Godwin is out, he's certainly worth start consideration as a flex or WR3 in leagues of 12 teams or deeper. The Buccaneers have a tough Week 17 matchup against a tough Bills pass defense, but that shouldn't discourage Jameis Winston from airing it out and taking some chances, giving Watson a good chance to deliver a similar game to Week 16 if Godwin is out.
