ANALYSIS: Thirteen. That's the number of games Justin Holiday has started for the Pacers this season, all of them in a row going back to Jan. 11 and with an average playing time of 33 MPG. Not bad for someone part of fewer than half of Yahoo fantasy rosters these days.
Given Holiday massive playing time, he is never going to be a per-minute efficiency beast. The presence of Sabonis and Brogdon as the two go-to guys in Indiana's starting lineup is always going to eat from Holiday's usage rate too, but it is not that you can find many starters averaging 33 minutes, 10+ PPG, 4+ RPG, 1+ APG, and 1+ SPG out there for free in your waiver wire...
In the past seven games, Holiday has scored 2.5 3PG and two or more triples in five of those seven matches. His shooting percentage was as low as it will be all year long in that span (40.7% from the floor) and will undoubtedly bounce back to his early-season 50+ (53% from G1 to Jan. 22 in 15 games). Holiday will remain a starter at least until T.J. Warren comes back, and that is not expected to happen for at least one more month at the very least.
