ANALYSIS: It looks like fantasy GMs are finally catching up to Justin Holiday's potential in this Indiana Pacers team. Holiday, even playing off the bench for Indy, is logging 29.5 MPG on the season and a pretty heavy 35 MPG in the past week (three games through Thursday). Those three matches spanning from Jan. 2nd to 6th included an OT affair against New Orleans and 45 minutes of playing time, but Holiday still played 28 and 32 in the other two so that's not really worrying.
Holiday is a shooting machine, no matter the category related to it you're looking to boost the score of. Justin is averaging 13.6 PPG since flipping the calendar page while hitting 4, 3, and 3 treys in his three games this year with an FG% up to 60 percent from the floor on 23 FGA. The only thing he's not doing is not going to the line, although he logged (and hit all of them) 5 free throws in his last game against Houston last Wednesday.
You might not believe it, but Holiday has increased his fantasy scores steadily for the past four games, going from 15 to 22, 29, and 29 once more. While having a secondary role below Malcolm Brogdon and Victor Oladipo, Holiday is the most efficient and productive second-unit guard on the team above T.J. McConnell and Aaron Holiday.
