ANALYSIS: It's overreaction time! Yay! Justin Fields, he of the Mighty Bears, just put together a fantastic piece of football facing San Francisco this past Sunday... only it also was the first time he scored more than 15 FP and that's all we need to know to stay patient and not make crazy moves to roster the rookie quarterback--in other words: grab some Fields' shares in 2QB/Superflex/super-deeper leagues, but hold your horses in any shallower league.

Fields has been picked off three weeks in a row, which is nothing to like that much. That being said, though, Fields has thrown three touchdowns in the past for weeks (missed on it in W7) while adding one on the ground this past weekend in which marked his best rushing outing to date: 10 carries, 103 (!) rushing yards, and that touchdown--albeit with 2 fumbles on the day, though.

Field's passing upside is rather low (he has yet to throw for more than 209 yards and he's only one 185+ pass-yards game) while attempting/completing passes on really low volume, but what we and everybody love from Fields game is honestly his rushing prowess. He's not going to have 100+ rushing yards weekly, obviously, but he's already shown what he can be capable of if given the chance. The QB5 finish in Week 8 is a nice building block, but until we don't see that sort of level of play staying up for a few weeks in a row I wouldn't advise gambling other than in the deepest of formats.
