BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 17% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Solid starting pitching became more and more scarce as the year has progressed so finding someone who could bump up your fantasy team's pitching stats in the final week of the season could be what puts you over the edge. Justin Dunn is someone who could do that. After a rough start to the season which saw Dunn hold a 7.80 ERA though four starts, he put together a run of three start quality starts all going 6.0 IP with two of the starts yielding no runs and just one hit and the other start giving up just two runs.
The worry for Dunn is the walks which reared its ugly head in his last start with walks to five of the twelve batters he faced. Walks have blighted his season with 25 free passes in just 35.0 IP, more than the number of hits he's given up (23) and 21 walks in his last 20.0 IP. Dunn is lined up to face Oakland in his final start which looks like it'll be part of a double-header so there's a chance the A's won't have a full strength lineup (already weakened with the loss of Matt Chapman). Dunn has a chance to add to his three wins and keep his ERA (4.11) going on its downward trend so is worth an add in deeper 14+ team leagues as a final week throw of the dice.
