BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 28% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: Justin Bour took over the starting job at first base in Miami by default last year after Mike Morse struggled mightily. He was a pleasant surprise, launching 23 HR, knocking in 73 RBI and finishing fifth in NL Rookie of the Year voting. Bour would seem to be a left-handed version of Morse, offering power at the corner position. He fits the profile of a prototypical left-handed slugger, doing most of his damage against righties. The stats from last year show proof of that, as he hit .270/.326/.519 against RHP as opposed to .221/.293/.279 against LHP. Any concerns about a possible platoon were squashed by manager Don Mattingly before the season started, however, and Bour is set to be an everyday starter. Assuming he doesn't show huge regression in his sophomore campaign, there is no reason to think Bour won't top 25 HR this season. If he isn't owned in your league already, now is the time to snatch him up.
