BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 28% of leagues
ANALYSIS: While it may seem like Texas Rangers infielder Jurickson Profar has been around forever, the former top prospect is still just 25 years old and may finally have reached useful fantasy asset status. He while he is hitting a modest .241/.318/.448, he does have six home runs and four stolen bases to his credit.
Profar also has 62 R+RBI in 60 games, starting many games at short with Elvis Andrus out of the lineup. Andrus is due back within the next two weeks, so fantasy owners need to be mindful of that, but the Rangers appear to be finding ways to getting Profar in the lineup. He has hits in four of the last five games, but has only posted one multi-hit game since May 26.
Profar has found his way into consistent at-bats in the middle of the Texas lineup and deserves mixed-league consideration for as long as that remains the case.
