Jaguars Tight End Julius Thomas will make his season debut today against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Thomas is coming off of a season where he caught 43 passes for 489 yards and 12 touchdowns in Denver. Now in Jacksonville, he will likely be one of Blake Bortles favorite targets as the Jaguars do not expect that Thomas will be limited today.
With Thomas in the lineup, it is a slight bump up in value for Blake Bortles, who is currently the QB11 in normal scoring quarterback leagues. It is also a slight bump down for Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson, as they will likely each lose a few targets.
The Buccaneers have been middle of the road at defending the tight end, allowing the 18th most fantasy points to tight ends so far this season. The return of Thomas also take a little of the shine away from those who are streaming the Buccaneers defense against the Jaguars.
